Unsolicited “Ick” pics

I had a girl message me on Instagram and tell me one of my reels on Instagram gave her “The Ick”.
Never spoken to her.
Never met her.
Just slid into my DMs
“Your reel with the spoon gave me the ick”.
Did it knock my confidence?
Not even close mate.
Why, because I don’t measure my worth by validation from others.
But I used to.
The old Mike would have been in the fetal position crying in the shower, you know, like a real man does.
But if you’re sat reading this now thinking If something like that were to happen to you, you be right there in the shower with me…..or at least your own shower
Then it’s a huge sign that you’ve been relying on the wrong things to feel good about yourself.
Real confidence doesn’t come from what other people think.
It comes from how you show up for you.
You can binge every self help quote on Instagram and still crumble the minute someone throws a little shade if you don’t actually respect yourself first.
And the fastest way to build that self respect?
Start with your body.
Eat like someone who gives a shit, even if you don’t right now.
Train like you’ve got something to prove to yourself, because you do.
Stick to a plan. Get consistent.
Do the boring stuff, especially when no one’s watching.
That’s how you build confidence that doesn’t break when life or some entitled 6 outta 10 throws you a cheap shot.
So if your confidence feels fragile
Self-esteem lower than your ex’s morals
Then don’t go looking for praise.
Go look for structure.
And if you’re ready to build a body and a mindset that doesn’t need outside validation to stand tall, get a free consultation call booked in below.
Because when you feel strong on the inside and the outside?
Nobody’s opinion can touch you, and that my friend, feels 10 times better than you can ever imagine.
