You are the reason you have no energy & keep burning out. You keep telling yourself “it’s supposed to feel like this” because taking a day off means you're lazy. I mean, who else is gonna carry the boats right? Mate, you can’t even carry yourself up the stairs without gassing out. You’ve got your foot to the floor with no fuel in the tank and boom…..there goes your right phalange. Tired all the time, crawling out of bed like a zombie every morning. Sleeps fucked, appetite is trash, motivation is in the bin and before you know it, you’re pressing the fuck-it button harder than the last sesh you were on. Then you start the cycle all over again: binge, guilt, “I’ll start Monday,” but Monday never comes around again does it, there's always some excuse why it's not the right time. You need to be smart with things, not let your ego take over, take the deload, have the re-feed, let your body catch up to your goals. Despite what big Dave might tell you as he commando rolls through the trenches in his Gasp pants and TBJP top. So what actually happens when you actually stop and let your body recover? That’s when shit starts clicking. You wake up with energy. Enjoy your food again. You can lift heavier. Start enjoying your training again. And your physique? It finally starts changing the way you want it to. Rest doesn’t make you weak, burning out and throwing the towel in does. Need a hand pulling yourself out the trenches? Let’s get to work soldier…..
